Through this two-level program with instructor Laurie Fulford, I studied the history and modern applications of sound healing, the principles of sound and vibration, cymatics, binaural beats, Solfeggio frequencies, and traditional chakra-based sound practices.

Level 1 — Foundations of Sound Healing

My foundational training introduced passive and active sound healing, the use of crystal and metal singing bowls, crystal pyramids, drums, percussion instruments, and Bija seed sound chanting.

I also studied how to prepare for sound healing sessions, including room and treatment-table setup, grounding and intention setting, client intake procedures, professional insurance considerations, and supporting clients throughout a session.

Practical instruction included singing bowl sessions, guided sound experiences, and drumming circles.

Level 2 — Advanced Techniques & Multi-Instrument Practice

Building upon these foundations, my Level 2 education expanded into specialized sound healing applications, including weighted and unweighted tuning forks, chakra and Solfeggio tuning fork sets, low-frequency Ohm tuning forks, and traditional biofield clearing techniques.

I studied approaches to combining multiple instruments, working with major and minor chakra concepts, and creating personalized sound healing experiences.

Through Melissa Crowhurst's Space Clearing Made Simple course, I studied the foundations of space clearing, traditional energy-field concepts, and methods for assessing the atmosphere and characteristics of residential, professional, and other environments.

My coursework explored the Anatomy of a Place, including how the history, use, physical characteristics, and perceived energetic qualities of a space may influence the experience of those who occupy it.

I studied techniques for preparing and conducting space-clearing sessions, selecting appropriate tools, developing intuitive awareness, and following a structured process from initial assessment through post-clearing reflection.

My training also introduced foundational Feng Shui principles, including the use of Bagua maps to explore how different areas of a property are traditionally associated with aspects of life and well-being.

Hand Mudras Energy Healer

My certification in Hand Mudras Energy Healing introduced me to the ancient practice of mudras—intentional hand gestures traditionally used in meditation, yoga, and energy-based spiritual practices.

Through training with instructor Melissa Crowhurst, I studied 14 hand mudras, including seven associated with the main chakras and seven additional gestures designed for different intentions and practices.

My studies included the foundations of energy healing, chakra awareness, proper hand positioning, and techniques for incorporating mudras into meditation, relaxation, and personal self-care. I also learned how to guide others in practicing these gestures.
